Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Can’t Keep 4K @60FPS on an RTX 3090 GPU

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Can’t Keep 4K @60FPS on an RTX 3090 GPU

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla launches tomorrow and the Russian folks at GameGPU were able to publish their PC performance results. So far, things aren’t looking great, at least on the high-end side, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla can’t keep 4K @60FPS on an RTX 3090 GPU.

The first video shows Assassin’s Creed Valhalla struggling to stay above 60 frames per second at 4K and max settings on NVIDIA’s most powerful graphics card, the $1499 GeForce RTX 3090. In fact, when Eivor enters a village the frame rate drops down to around 45 FPS, which is disappointing to say the least.

The second video shows an even more struggling GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, which is still a damn good graphics card performance-wise. However, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla runs about 15 frames per second slower than the RTX 3090 on this one, which means you’re down to around 30 frames per second in certain instances.

it’s worth mentioning that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an AMD-optimized game, which could mean NVIDIA graphics card have a harder time than usual with it. Still, considering there are no fancy features like ray tracing, it is indeed quite a bit disappointing.

Ubisoft officially said the game will run at 4K and 60 frames per second on the Xbox Series X, while the PS5 will do upscaled 4K and 60 frames per second.

Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake May Be Teased in Ubisoft Forward Next Week

The rumored Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake may make it first appearance during next week’s Ubisoft Forward.

Alot has being said about the new Prince of Persia game from publisher Ubisoft. Recent rumors do indicate that a remaster or remake exists in some form, but to date, Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed its existence.

Last month, an entry for a Prince of Persia Remake surfaced on Guatemalan retailer MAX, and reputable gaming journalist Jason Schreier later made it more reliable by tweeting about the listing.

On the ResetEra forums, Capcom insider ‘Okabe’ has now seemingly hinted at a possible remake of the 2003’s reboot of the Prince of Persia series, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time. The rather ‘cryptic’ tease was posted in the thread for next week’s Ubisoft Forward event that was confirmed by Ubisoft yesterday. Last month, the insider seemingly implied that the rumored new Prince of Persia might more of an remake than a remaster.

Meanwhile, words on the street, The Sands of Time is considered as one of the best entries in the series and we would be more than excited with a full-on remake. The Ubisoft Forward digital showcase will air next week on September 10 at 12pm PDT.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla First 30 Minutes Gameplay Leaked Online

assassins-creed-valhalla-30-minutes-gameplay-leaked

First 30 minutes Assassin’s Creed Valhalla gameplay has been leaked online. Although Ubisoft is doing everything possible to scrape the gameplay off the internet.

We managed to get our hands on one which you can have a full look below. Talking about the gameplay, frankly it doesn’t look that good.

The cutscenes are not that good. No handcrafted touches, no unique animations, really poor – and this in a mission that seems clearly part of the main storyline.

NPC faces, except for Eivor, look like a 360/PS3 game. The hair on some of the Anglo Saxons and their face textures details looks awful.

Anyways it’s an odyssey re-skin so we believe work is still in progress so it’s just a very early build..will look way more better when launched.

It started with Mandalorian, and this video game I did, which is going to be huge and I can’t really mention, with [me] doing this new style of acting.

Didn’t mention or revealed the title of the game he’s going to feature on but according to Gamereactor Esposito is talking about Far Cry 6. The article has since been pulled down, but the Internet never forgets.

Far Cry 6 Reportedly To Feature Breaking Bad Actor Giancarlo Esposito

As usual always take rumors with a grain of salt until we get an official Ubisoft announcement, but it definitely seems like Far Cry 6 is coming, and Esposito would certainly be a great actor to have in the franchise.
